School Assembly

This morning we attended my youngest son’s school assembly.  He had already told me that he was going to be a duck in the story “Cock-a-moo-moo”, one of his favourite bedtime stories.

Bless them, they all looked so sweet in the hats they had made depicting the animals.  And they said their lines of the story beautifully.  They also each told us their favourite thing they had done this term.  These mostly related to the Book week events or the visit from the police or the visit to the fire station.  And they each told us their name backwards, which one of the authors had done with them.  They also sang two spring songs.  Just a pity the weather doesn’t agree with today being the official start of spring.  More snow forecast.

Tomorrow is my oldest son’s swimming gala.  Unfortunately I can’t attend, but at least his Dad will be there to cheer him on.
