Macarons Galore Review and Giveaway

A large box marked fragile arrived in the post yesterday.  Inside carefully wrapped in bubble wrap, was a small attractive package containing 4 macarons.  They looked exquisite and I couldn’t wait to taste them.  I was tempted to scoff them all myself whilst everyone else was out, but I restrained myself so that we could share them.

Raspberry, chocolate, pistachio and vanilla flavours.  We all agreed they were delicious.  A real treat.  Macarons are not to be confused with macaroons, an entirely different confection.  Macarons are tiny meringues with a crispy outer shell and soft centre with a creamy filling in the middle.

These macarons were made by Benedicte Alix of Macarons Galore.  You may see details of pricing and full range of flavours on the Macarons Galore facebook page. A box of these would make a lovely Christmas present.  They also make bespoke orders for special occasions.
