I received a free 250ml bottle of Anovia Kids blackcurrant and apple flavour 3 in 1 shampoo, bodywash and bubble bath to review.
Anovia is a complete range of shower gels, body creams, suncare and children’s hair care products innovatively designed to provide nourishing and gentle skincare for all the family.
First impressions. The boys loved the star shape of the bottle and we all thought it smelt very nice. And having recently been introduced to the concept of bubble baths, my eldest was quick to point out the advantage of combining shampoo and bubble bath in the one product.
So proceeding on to put the product to the test. First we tried it out as bubble bath and my youngest was delighted to see the purple colour, but surprised when it didn’t turn into purple bubbles. Now there’s a product idea which doesn’t exist – bathing in coloured bubble foam – could it catch on?
I did have to add quite a lot of the product to get it to foam up and even then, there were less bubbles than I anticipated. We had a similar issue with another bubble bath previously. I don’t know if the softness or hardness of your water is a factor, since we have a water purifier installed, so our water is soft.
Then we squeezed some onto the sponge to test it out as a bodywash. The boys are used to using a bar of soap, so they gave this the thumbs up as an alternative way of washing.
The next day we tested it out as a shampoo. A small amount lathered up nicely. So full marks all round to this 3 in 1 product, although we probably won’t use it as a bubblebath, in order to get best value from it.
The current RRP for this product is £1.29 and it is available at Tesco, Poundland, Poundworld, Boyes, Home Bargains, Factory Shop and B&M. This price is excellent value in my opinion, especially as you only need to purchase 1 product rather than 3. And the bonus of less bottles cluttering up the bathroom.
And I’m hosting a rafflecopter competition to giveaway products to three lucky winners courtesy of Anovia. One winner will win a bottle of Anovia Kids 3-in-1 shampoo, bodywash and bubble bath and the other two winners will win a bottle of Anovia Kids 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner.
