Badger The Mystical Mutt and the Enchanting Exchange kids book review and giveaway

My eldest son was very pleased when I opened the package and he saw our free review copy of a signed Badger the Mystical Mutt book. It arrived really quickly, the day after I let Lyn know my address. We received the 5th book in the series by Lyn McNicol and Laura Jackson – Badger the Mystical Mutt and the Enchanting Exchange. The 6th book – Badger the Mystical Mutt and the Flying Fez will be published at the end of this month.

Neither my children nor I had come across this series of books previously. They are aimed at children age 5 to 9 and address issues such as bullying, disability and prejudice.

So eight year old son1 read this book to his younger brother and me over a couple of weeks, usually a chapter each evening.

Here is his video review or perhaps I should say recap.

In summary son1 loved this book and enjoyed creating his video review. Son2 wasn’t so bothered, but he hasn’t really got into chapter books yet. But we’re going to try son2 with book 1 in the series, so watch out for another review in a few weeks time.

You may purchase these books online via Badger’s Shop or Waterstones at £5.99 each.  Waterstones are also offering free delivery.  Book 1 is also available as an ebook from several retailers. See Badger’s Shop for the links.

There are also some fun Badger the Mystical Mutt kids activities to download.

And I’m hosting a rafflecopter competition to giveaway a signed set of the six Badger the Mystical Mutt books in the series to one lucky winner.
