The Forgotten Puppy by Holly Webb – book review

Disclosure.  This post is a review of a product I was sent for free.  All opinions are my own.

I’ve had a little break from giveaways over the Christmas period, but here is the first one for 2015.  A Happy New Year to all my readers but especially to 3 lucky winners.

Little Tiger Press have offered us a choice of their new titles to pick one to review for free. So son2 has selected a chapter book called The Forgotten Puppy . This is written by Holly Webb and illustrated by Sophy Williams.

The Forgotten Puppy

Although son2 still loves picture books, he has recently started getting into chapter books too. It was a lovely indication that he is growing up, seeing him select this title in preference to some picture books. By the time the book arrived, son2 was on school holiday. And bless him, he read the whole book in a day. A sure sign of a good read.

After he finished the book he went to check son1’s book-shelves to see if we had any other books by Holly Webb. We didn’t but he has asked if he can have another one.

This paperback book is published by Stripes Publishing, an imprint of Little Tiger Press. You may purchase it online from Little Tiger Press who are a children’s book publishing company. It is targetted at children age 6-8.

This is the third book that son2 has reviewed from Little Tiger Press. He previously reviewed their Halloween Sticker Activities book and The Magical Snow Garden.

Son 2 really enjoyed this book about Emi’s puppy Rina and tells us all about it in the following video review.

And I’m hosting a rafflecopter competition to giveaway a copy of The Forgotten Puppy book courtesy of Little Tiger Press to three lucky winners
