Disclosure. This post is a review of a product I was sent for free. All opinions are my own.
Although son2 now enjoys chapter books, he also still loves his picture books and one of his favourites is Supertato. So he was delighted when we received another book from the series free to review. This one is Supertato Veggies Assemble, which will be published on April 21st.
This is what it says on the back cover.
Supertato to the rescue!
The Evil Pea is on the loose and there’s anarchy in the aisles!
Can our supermarket superhero divert disaster?
Or is he going to need backup?
Son2 loved this book and has drawn a picture of Supertato and one of his other hero friends, the Tomato, who son2 has decided, must be called Super Tomato. He told me that Pea is always bad.
Supertato Veggies Assemble is written by Sue Hendra and illustrated by Paul Linnet. It is currently available for pre-order on Amazon for £5.24 compared to a RRP of £6.99 for a paperback copy. It will also be available in hardback and as a Kindle edition. This lovely colourful book for young children is published by Simon & Schuster.
You may see details of Sue Hendra’s other books here, plus there are games and activity sheets.
And I’m hosting a rafflecopter competition to giveaway a copy of Supertato Veggies Assemble to one lucky winner.

I don’t think my daughter has a favourite book character as such, shes very much into her Disney Princess books at the moment though. She does love an audiobook though and I think her favourite to listen to is How To Train Your Dragon 🙂 #triedtested

My boys don’t have one favourite. They have loads, but I’d say Harry Potter is probably a high contender. And we find audio books are fab in the car
