Supertato Veggies Assemble by Sue Hendra – book review

Disclosure.  This post is a review of a product I was sent for free.  All opinions are my own.

Although son2 now enjoys chapter books, he also still loves his picture books and one of his favourites is Supertato. So he was delighted when we received another book from the series free to review. This one is Supertato Veggies Assemble, which will be published on April 21st.

Supertato

This is what it says on the back cover.

Supertato to the rescue!

The Evil Pea is on the loose and there’s anarchy in the aisles!
Can our supermarket superhero divert disaster?
Or is he going to need backup?

Son2 loved this book and has drawn a picture of Supertato and one of his other hero friends, the Tomato, who son2 has decided, must be called Super Tomato. He told me that Pea is always bad.

I don’t think my daughter has a favourite book character as such, shes very much into her Disney Princess books at the moment though. She does love an audiobook though and I think her favourite to listen to is How To Train Your Dragon 🙂 #triedtested

Ah yes my little one quite enjoys Harry Potter too – to listen to! We are non car drivers but find audio books are great to fall asleep too 🙂
