I have received a free e-copy of the book The Fed-Up Cow by Peta Lemon for son2 to review.
Here is the book blurb.
Hilda is FED-UP with being a cow. Spending all day doing not much but moo. There has to be something more she can do. So she decides to be a sheep… … then a pig … and even a chicken. Is the grass any greener on the other side? Join Hilda, the fed-up cow, on her voyage of self-discovery in this daft but timeless story, written in rhyme.
This is what son2 had to say about the book.
I liked it best when she turned into a pig because I love pigs. It was a good book.
This delightful picture book has been written by Peta Lemon and beautifully illustrated by Maria Dasic Todoric. You may see some of the illustrations on the author’s website. We follow the antics of Hilda the cow, as she tries to become various other farm animals before realising she can be happy as she is. Targeted at children aged 3-5 years.
The Fed-Up Cow is available on Amazon, currently priced at £5.99 in paperback. A lovely rhyming picture book with a message to convey. Thumbs up for this book from son2.
