Are you sitting comfortably including giveaway?

I’ve received a very attractive cushion, free to review from Evans Lichfield. It was a surprise as to which one they would choose from their wide selection and I was delighted to receive a gorgeous pheasant design from their country range.

Evans Lichfield Pheasant Cushion

It is very comfortable and now I’m just wondering where they have installed a secret camera here, as it compliments my lounge furniture beautifully.

This cushion measures 43cm by 33 cm and has a nice tartan pattern on the reverse for when you fancy a change of style. The fabric is dry-clean only and it has been handmade in England. The current RRP for this design of cushion is £19.99 and you may check Evans Lichfield website for stockists. A great value item in my opinion to purchase either for yourself or as a gift.

You may also purchase matching fabric in a 140cm width in this design if you fancy making your own home furnishings. The design is also available in canvas wall art, tea towels and tote bags.

Evans Lichfield is a British family run home furnishings business that has been going since 1988. They work with a host of in-house artists as well as British artists to create their designs, with a host of products available including cushions, canvas wall-art and fabric-by-the-metre. You can view their whole collection on their website. There are loads of lovely designs for lounges and bedrooms.

And I’m hosting a rafflecopter competition to giveaway a pheasant cushion courtesy of Evans Lichfield to one lucky winner.comper friendly badge

My M&S Magical Dining Room

Marks and Spencer are running a competition for bloggers to showcase their dream dining room.  This is being judged by interiors experts: Jen of Love Chic Living and Jenny of Treasure Hunter UK. I’ve missed the chance of doing a Christmas theme, so instead mine is for a special winter dinner party entertaining friends.

I would choose the Greenwich oval extending dining table, great for just the 4 of us and extended for entertaining.  This would be matched by the Greenwich padded dining chairs for a touch of comfort.

Then I would go for a striking red look, with the Manhattan dinner set.  This has 4 dinner plates, side plates and cereal bowls, so I would purchase 2 sets, plus matching pasta bowls, mugs, teacups and teapot.

Sticking with the red theme, I’ve chosen some red enamel napkin rings, which I will pair with traditional white Autograph cotton napkins.  And I’ve never possessed a table runner, so I’ve chosen a lovely red pleated one.  I couldn’t find any red placemats, so I’ve selected black granite mats.

It is always nice to have candles burning at dinner for atmosphere, so I’ve picked a modern glass tealight holder.  I’ll purchase 2 of these plus a supply of tealights.

Then glassware, white and red wine glasses in the Nova range and Marcel Wanders hi-ball tumblers.  Plus a 44 piece set of stainless steel cutlery and we’re ready to eat.

I’ll add some sparkle with large floral arrangements, but these will be on the window sill rather than on the table.  And some magic with balloons, white fairy lights, ribbons and table confetti.

Here’s my mood board featuring my choices from M&S.  I’ve had great fun window shopping online. My M&S Magical Dining Room
