I’ve read several books from the Mumsnet Book Club but this is the first time that we’ve had a children’s book. Son2 was very pleased to receive a free copy of Kitchen Disco to review.
Son2 read the book himself but this is a great book to read out loud to young children, with bright bold colourful illustrations. It is about the fruit having a party in the kitchen after you go to bed. A very funny read, which both son2 and I highly recommend.
Kitchen Disco is written by Clare Foges and illustrated by Al Murphy. It currently retails in paperback on Amazon for £6.99 and is also available as a Kindle edition. This is Clare Foges’s first book. When she’s not writing about dancing fruit, she works as Speechwriter to David Cameron, so a very different style of writing.
